Vice President candidate Tim Walz has a completely different opinion on Lions head coach Dan Campbell than Chris Christies

Normally we don't get into politics here at A to Z Detroit, but another high ranking politician weighed in on Dan Campbell this week and we though it might be fair to head to the other side of the Campbell aisle and hear some good stuff about the Lions coach.
Minnesota governor and current vice president candidate Tim Walz went on the Rich Eisen show to talk football and the former defensive coordinator turned governor had some really good things to say about the guy that coaches the team that's facing his Vikings this Sunday.
"Who would not want to be on that guy's staff or be in that building? You know, it's first. It's the, you know, wearing his emotions on his sleeves. But there's never a question you ever questioned that he's with his guys and thinking about it. I just love that passion" Walz said. "I watched the guy and look, you turn a team around like that. It's culture too. It's the X and O's. It's a sophisticated game. It's all the GM work and all that. But I still think what gets overlooked is is a guy like that, and here in Minnesota with Kevin O'Connell, a true professional. Not the exact same style, but they get the same results, they built culture that is amazing to watch."
I don't care where you stand politically in this election, but man you got to agree with Walz there. This is a drastic shift from the nonsense that Christie was talking about. On top of that, you have to love thar people outside of Lions fandom can see that the culture is a big reason why this team is succeeding.
