What to Watch for
This is a classic trap game in college football. Coming off what will surely be a massive adrenaline dump against the Georgia Bulldogs, Vanderbilt, on the road and with a mid-afternoon kick is a recipe for a slow start.
So while Kalen DeBoer and Jalen Milroe are coming off stellar performances, this is where the resolve and leadership of the Tide will show up. Vanderbilt is also much better than the team that the Tide beat 55-3 in 2022.
The Commodores already matched their win total from last year as they sit at 2-2 and they would like nothing more than to spoil the number one team in the land's hot start ahead of a big matchup with the Tennesse Volunteers in a couple of weeks.
