Former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback/current ESPN college football analyst Greg McElroy revealed his top 15 on Tuesday and he's not as down on the Tennessee Vols as you might expect.

McElroy has Tennessee as the No. 8 team in the nation after the Vols' tough loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks this past weekend.

Tennessee is also ranked No. 8 in the AP Top 25 poll (the Vols were No. 4 before the loss to the Razorbacks).

Part of the reason why McElroy still has Tennessee in his top 10 is because of the Vols' road win against Oklahoma in September.

"Tennessee just beat Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago," said McElroy. "I still think Oklahoma's a solid football team. They're ranked in the top 20 as of this moment. I don't know if that will sustain — kind of like what we just talked about with Texas, who beat Michigan. Will that Michigan game still hold up when we fast forward to the end of the year and Michigan's lost a few more, if they lose a few more, will it hold up? That might be the case for Tennessee's win against Oklahoma. But as of this moment, still a rock solid performance (Tennessee's win against Oklahoma)."

Oklahoma is set to take on Texas this weekend in the Red River Rivalry. If the Sooners can somehow give the Longhorns their first loss of the season, than Tennessee's win against Oklahoma will suddenly become a lot more impressive for the Vols.

It's still early in the season and rankings don't mean much, but Tennessee, at least for now, is still viewed as one of the top teams in the nation.
