The Kansas City Chiefs have already suffered some pretty legit roadblocks on their road to a three-peat. But, these roadblocks just give for more challenges and make for a new path to what will inevitably still happen. This time, it's that the Chiefs have had some key injuries.

Hollywood Brown was injured before the season during a preseason game — the first play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, to be exact. Of course, the Isaiah Pacheco injury didn't help. Then, a few weeks ago when the Kansas City Chiefs played the Los Angeles Chargers, another key injury happened.

This time, it was to Rashee Rice, their best weapon. After throwing an interception, Mahomes went to try and make the tackle and his helmet hit Rice's knee. It was initially thought that Rice tore his ACL. Instead, it was an injury to his LCL.

On Tuesday, he and the Chiefs got back some great news.

According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, Rice had a successful surgery. His meniscus, ACL, and MCL did not need to be repaired. However, there was a repair done to Rice’s hamstring tendon.

This is great news overall, though. Rice is expected to miss the remainder of the season and focus on rehabbing for 2025, where he can be one of the best receivers in the league if all goes well.
