The Minnesota Vikings released their Thursday injury report and left tackle Christian Darrisaw made an appearance for the first time. He did not practice on Thursday due to an illness.

Illnesses can be tricky to deal with, especially since they can encompass a multitude of things. Usually, when an illness pops up, it's something like the stomach flu or food poisoning.

Under head coach Kevin O'Connell, the Vikings have had multiple illnesses pop up on the injury report during the week with a few of them resulting in the player not suiting up on Sunday. 2022 had a few of those, including D.J. Wonnum against the Miami Dolphins that season.

Now, we don't know what Darrisaw's status will be going into Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. It is worth mentioning and is concerning since Darrisaw is an important part of the offense. If he ends up missing the game, David Quessenberry would get the start and Walter Rouse would be active for his first game in the NFL.

There are still three days left for Darrisaw to heal up and it's important to be patient. We will keep you updated as we progress throughout the week.
