A couple of former Tennessee Vols teammates linked up on the field on Monday night after the Kansas City Chiefs' overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Former Vols offensive lineman Trey Smith, a starting guard for the Chiefs, and former Vols wide receiver Marquez Callaway, who currently plays for the Buccaneers, took a few minutes after the game to grab a photo with each other.
Smith played at Tennessee from 2017 to 2020. Callaway played for the Vols from 2016 to 2019.
Callaway has bounced around in the NFL after going undrafted in 2020. He's spent time with the New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers and now the Buccaneers. His best season came in 2021 when he caught 46 passes for 698 yards and six touchdowns for the Saints.
Smith, meanwhile, has spent the first four years of his career with the Chiefs. He's set to be a free agent after the 2024 season. The former Vol is expected to become one of the highest paid guards in the NFL.
