The Houston Texans have a big game ahead of them on Monday Night Football. They are set to take on their in-state rival, the Houston Texans, who they don't really play very often.

The Dallas Cowboys have won four of the last five games in this rivalry, but the Houston Texans have had the better history of these two teams since the early 2000s when the Texans became a team.

But, that's not what we are here talking about — the Texans are about to do something for the first time since 2019, which shows how bad in the dumps they had been for so long.

On Monday, the Houston Texans are set to take on the Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Dallas, which will be their first Monday Night Football game since 2019.

They lost that game 30-28 against the New Orleans Saints. According to StatMuse, they are 5-10 on Monday Night Football in their franchise's history.

The Texans don't necessarily have history on their side, but, maybe they are due a big win. The Cowboys are not very good, at all, and will be without some very key players. If the Texans can win this, they can end their bad streak.
