Tennessee Vols redshirt freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava left UT's 33-14 win against Mississippi State on Saturday night due to an injury. 

Iamaleava didn't return to the game after halftime due to an "upper body injury". 

After the game, Vols head coach Josh Heupel told reporters that he "anticipates" having Iamaleava for Tennessee's game against Georgia in Athens next weekend. 

Heupel also suggested that removing Iamaleava from the game was "precautionary". 

Iamaleava passed for 174 yards and two touchdowns (including a 73 yard touchdown to wide receiver Dont'e Thornton) before leaving the game. 

Redshirt senior Gaston Moore passed for 38 yards in the second half while playing in relief of Iamaleava.
