The Kansas City Chiefs have officially released their final injury report ahead of Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season.
Things are status quo on the injury report, with no changes from the report on Monday, or the injury report on Tuesday. That means, as expected, WR Marquise "Hollywood" Brown has been ruled out due to his sternoclavicular joint dislocation that took place in preseason Week 1. Brown is expected to be back within the next two weeks, with a chance that he could play in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but a higher likelihood that he will make his return for Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Beyond that injury, everyone else was a full participant in the team's walkthrough on Wednesday. That means 52 players on the team's roster are expected to be available to play on Thursday night against the Ravens. Despite missing Brown, do not expect the Chiefs to make any practice squad elevations for Week 1. In all likelihood, they would have only dressed six wide receivers had Brown been healthy enough to play.
As for the Ravens, their injury situation isn't quite as significant as Kansas City. Brown is a projected starter, while the two players they've ruled out and doubtful are both rookies who are much further down the depth chart in Baltimore.
