Beasley initially landed with the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Beasley, who played at Tennessee from 2019 to 2023, isn't the only former Vol that's currently on the Panthers' roster.
Offensive lineman Cade Mays, who was teammates with Beasley at Tennessee from 2020 to 2021, is entering his third season with the Panthers.
Additionally, former Vols defensive lineman Shy Tuttle, who finished his career at Tennessee before Beasley and Mays arrived in Knoxville, is entering his second season with Carolina (Tuttle started his career with the New Orleans Saints).
Beasley is also familiar with Panthers starting quarterback Bryce Young. The two players faced each other several times in college when Young starred at Alabama. In fact, Beasley forced an incomplete pass on Young's final pass of Alabama's loss to Tennessee in 2022.
Maybe the two former SEC players can share a laugh about that play now that they're teammates (though that's a memory that Young would likely prefer to forget).
