The offseason is over and football is finally back with Week 1 already here for college football. The Alabama Crimson Tide will kick off their season against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at home to open their 2024-2025 schedule.

For Alabama, it’ll be the opening game of a season unlike any other. A new era begins in Tuscaloosa post Nick Saban, and the evolution of college football continues with the expanded CFP field.

The Tide are 3-0 all-time against the Hilltoppers and last played during the 2016 season when Alabama prevailed 38-10. They are aiming for a similar result this go round.

What to look for

Alabama should have no problem with the Hilltoppers if were being honest here, but taking your opponent lightly is a recipe for disaster. Coach DeBoer highlighted three key elements to watch on offense, and the defense is looking to get off to a hot start with new rules under Kane Wommack

We'll see if DeBoer and CO. can create a night to remember in their inaugural game.
