San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings, a former Tennessee Vols standout, received a pretty cool honor this week from a couple of notable NFL names.

Legendary head coach Bill Belichick and former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson (or Ochocinco, whichever he goes by these days) gave Jennings the first "Football Guy Award" on The CW's "Inside the NFL".

"What's up Jauan Jennings, you are my pick for that football guy," said Ochocinco. "The guy that does the dirty work. You put on the hard hat, you don't get the commercials. You don't get the notoriety that you deserve. But I've been watching you. I know what it is. This Bill Belichick hoodie, we're gonna cut the sleeves off, it's coming to you."

No one deserves that honor more than Jennings. And it says a lot that arguably the greatest NFL head coach of all time, and one of the all-time great wide receivers to play in the league, recognize what kind of player Jennings is — relentless, competitive, and just an all-around "dawg".
