A new Tennessee Vols related feature has been added to the EA Sports College Football 25 video game.
The official Tennessee Football Twitter/X.com account tweeted on Thursday that UT's alternate smokey grey uniforms have been added to the game.
That's an appropriate and timely addition by EA Sports since the Vols are opening the 2024 season by wearing their smokey grey uniforms against Chattanooga on Saturday.
Opening the season — especially at home — in an alternate uniform is an unusual move by Tennessee. But under Danny White and Josh Heupel, the Vols have made it a point to where traditional uniforms in "big games", leaving the alternate uniforms for less exciting matchups.
Wearing the smokey grey uniform against Chattanooga will help provide some extra energy for the players on a humid afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
