The Kansas City Chiefs are getting closer to kickoff in their Week 1 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Chiefs HC Andy Reid spoke to media members for the final time ahead of practice on Tuesday. While the final injury report won't come until Wednesday, Reid confirmed what we already expected. Hollywood Brown will miss the Week 1 game against the Ravens due to his sternoclavicular joint injury.
Brown has not participated in any of the team's practice sessions this week as he continues to recover from his injury. He may return to action in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals or Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Andy Reid offers a brief update on Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Chiefs HC Andy Reid was asked about the decision to place RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the Reserve/NFI list. While he indicated that he would keep conversations between him and Edwards-Helaire private, he also explained that this decision was in the best interest of the veteran running back.
