The Tennessee Vols are in the mix for a 2026 four-star wide receiver in part because of 2026 five-star UT quarterback commit Faizon Brandon (the No. 1 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class).

2026 four-star wide receiver Tristen Keys told On3 this week that he's planning to visit Tennessee in October.

Keys, 6-foot-2/175 lbs from Hattiesburg, MS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 6 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi. He's also rated as the No. 41 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

"They just got a great quarterback commit in Faizon Brandon," said Keys to On3. "He’s a cool guy. When I go up there, I think he’ll be up there. No matter what, it will be a great time.”

Keys' visit to Tennessee in October will be his first trip to Knoxville.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State are pushing hard to keep Keys in the state. Alabama, Auburn, and LSU are also factors for the talented wide receiver.

We'll have a better idea of how big of a factor the Vols will be in this battle once Keys takes his visit to Tennessee.

Keys is one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 recruiting class, so he's definitely a player that Josh Heupel and his staff would love to steal out of Mississippi.
