Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars are set to play in a Week 2 battle in Florida today with both teams in search of their first win.

After a dud of a performance in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, the Browns are looking for a better offensive performance from Deshaun Watson and co. Watson was in the news this past week for the wrong reasons and will look to play much better overall against the Jaguars.

Let’s take a look at the inactive players in this game.

Cleveland Browns:

• TE David Njoku

• LT Jedrick Wills Jr.

• RT Jack Conklin

• QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson

• CB Kahlef Hailassie

• G Javion Cohen

• WR Jamari Thrash

Jacksonville Jaguars:

Observations:

The Browns will be without tight end David Njoku for at least this week, as he continues to rest his sprained ankle he suffered against the Cowboys. Losing Njoku is losing a big part of the offense. The running game is going to have to be better, as are the tackles who will not have help from Njoku to rely on. Jordan Akins will start in place of Njoku and look to make an impact.

It won’t be until Week 3 at the resellers that we see Jedrick Wills Jr. and he continues to work his way back from what was thought to be an MCL injury. The Browns have been quiet about the injury and we continue to await his return to play. Unfortunately, the Browns are without Conklin too, who isn’t quite ready to make his 2024 debut after a significant knee injury in Week 1 of last season.

It will be the Jaguars and Browns on CBS at 1 p.m., make sure you can watch the game here
