Tennessee Vols defensive lineman Jaxson Moi is from California and he spent the first two years of his college career at Stanford.
Suffice it to say, he's a west coast guy at heart.
But while Moi is from SoCal (with a two year detour to NoCal), he's quickly become an honorary Tennessean.
Moi told reporters on Tuesday that running through the T is one of his favorite things so far about playing in Neyland Stadium. In part, because he said he feels like he has support from the entire state of Tennessee.
"I'd say running out through the T, that's probably been my most favorite part yet," said Moi. "Being able to run and knowing that you have a whole state behind you supporting you. I don't look at it as pressure, I just look at it as a privilege, being able to represent that T. And that last name on my back. Just knowing that I have a lot of people counting on me, but it means a lot to me and I'm proud to carry the tradition here at Tennessee. It means a lot."
Tennessee's social media team actually posted a great video on Tuesday of the team running through the T before the Vols' recent win against Kent State.
Truly one of the best traditions in all of college sports.
