The Chicago Bears have released their first injury report for Week 3 following practice on Wednesday leading up to this weekend's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Ahead of practice, head coach Matt Eberflus revealed that four players would not be practicing during the day due to various injuries.

Those players were receiver Keenan Allen (heel), left guard Teven Jenkins (deep thigh bruise), fullback Khari Blasingame (knee) and defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin).

Allen and Blasingame each missed the team's Week 2 loss against the Houston Texans. Allen has been dealing with a lingering heel issue for weeks and Eberflus noted the team is "trying to get him back on the field as soon as possible."

"It's just working it day to day and see what it is day to day," Eberflus said before practice. "So again, we're wanting him to come back as fast as possible, but it's got to be right for him."

With Jenkins out of the lineup, Eberflus added that offensive lineman Matt Pryor stepped in at left guard during practice, but said that Jenkins will push to be on the field after today. As for Pickens, he missed the season opener with the same groin injury. He returned to action last Sunday but was later ruled out during the game.

The Bears had five other starters who were listed as limited during Wednesday's practice. Montez Sweat (elbow), DeMarcus Walker (foot), Rome Odunze (knee), Nate Davis (groin), and Andrew Billings (groin) were all limited. As was rookie offensive tackle Kiran Amegadje, who is continuing to rehab from his quad injury.

Odunze suffered an MCL sprain in the team's season opener but was able to play 94 percent of the team's offensive snaps despite being a game time decision. He likely is still dealing with lingering soreness in the knee.

Walker also was on the Bears injury report last week with a foot injury. Along with Odunze, he suited up against the Texans and played 84 percent of the team's defensive snaps in that game.

We'll see throughout the next two days of practice how these players progress with their injury heading into this weekend's game.

As for the Colts, the team will already be without their sack leader in defensive lineman DeForest Bucker who was placed on the injured reserve earlier this week.
