The Tennessee Vols will have a unique opportunity to impress a key recruit in Norman this weekend.

Tennessee is set to take on the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday night. And a four-star recruit that has interest in both programs will be in attendance for the matchup.

According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, 2026 four-star running back Kaydin Jones will be at the game.

Jones, 6-foot/170 lbs from Jenks, OK, is rated by On3 as the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma and the No. 14 running back in the nation. He's also rated as the No. 101 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

“I’m very excited to see both teams, as both teams I could see myself playing for,” said Jones ton On3 this week. “It’ll be a good SEC matchup. OU’s first real challenge game.”

Landing Jones over Oklahoma, the in-state favorites, won't be an easy task. But if the Vols can pull out a big win in Norman on Saturday night, it could leave a lasting impression on Jones.

The Vols will need to get Jones on campus this fall/next spring to have a real chance in this battle. Tennessee's impressive ground game could certainly be appealing to the coveted four-star recruit.
