It was announced today that the Steelers would be without veteran linebacker Myles Jack for their Week 15 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Jack was once an extremely versatile player, back in his college days at UCLA. He suffered a knee injury before declaring for the draft and has been trying to regain his form ever since. He was a 2nd round pick by the Jaguars, and he stayed there until he signed with the Steelers this off-season.

Jack was on pace for one of the better seasons of his career, nearing his form from the 2017 and 2018 seasons. So far this year, he has come up with 59 solo tackles, 100 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 3 pass deflections. Behind him on the depth chart is veteran Robert Spillane. Spillane has served serviceable time in his stint in Pittsburgh.

Spillane has tallied 102 solo tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 5 QB hits, 1 interception, and 8 pass deflections throughout his career. Behind him will be rookie Mark Robinson, who was drafted in the 7th round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Steelers will also be without rookie QB, Kenny Pickett. Despite his 3 interception performance last week, Mitch Trubisky will be making the start. The full list of inactives can be found here.
