The Las Vegas Raiders are in a close battle with the Denver Broncos at halftime. Their defense has made a couple vital splash plays to give them the lead. Towards the end of the first half, the Raiders did something that they haven't in three years.

Las Vegas scored a defensive touchdown.

It came on a fumble by Broncos' running back Melvin Gordon. Raiders' young defensive back Amik Robertson returned it for a touchdown.

The fumble was Gordon's fourth so far this season. The Raiders capitalized in a big way.

Another turnover could really take the wind out of the sails for the Broncos. The defense for the Raiders must continue to make important plays in the second half to secure the victory.

They desperately need to avoid an 0-4 start to the season.
