Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys defeated Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots in dramatic fashion on Sunday evening.

In an error-filled game — particularly on the side of the Cowboys — the two teams went to overtime after a tightly contested four quarters. A Greg Zuerlein field goal in the final minute sent the game into an extra frame.

Dallas forced a New England punt, giving the ball back to Prescott and the offense. From there, the Cowboys drove down the field on the Patriots defense. Kellen Moore called a mixture of run plays and passes to set up the game-winning score.

Prescott faked the handoff to Ezekiel Elliott, rolled out to his right, and threw a strike off his back foot to CeeDee Lamb. Lamb hauled in the accurate pass and strolled into the end zone to ice the game.

Bill Belichick is notorious for making life hard for opposing quarterbacks. The Patriots take out the best thing that the opponent does and forces them to do something else in order to win. That often leads to quarterbacks struggling, especially in Foxborough.

Dak Prescott did throw an interception and then fumbled on the goal line; however, Prescott was largely exceptional in the win on Sunday.

The Cowboys quarterback completed 70% of his passes for 445 yards and three touchdowns. Prescott was in total command and led impressive drive after impressive drive against the Patriots.

To make Prescott's performance even more impressive, he made history.

Prescott's 445 passing yards are the most ever against a Bill Belichick-coached Patriots team — regular season or playoffs. That is an incredible stat considering how long Belichick has been in charge in New England and the quarterbacks he has gone up against.

Dak Prescott is playing incredible football for the Dallas Cowboys. It is time for everybody to recognize how good number four is.
