There are three more regular season games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. The Cowboys already clinched a playoff spot and are well on the way to locking up the NFC East. Dallas will be back in the postseason for the first time since 2018.
There is still a lot to play for over the remaining three regular season contests. For one, the Cowboys are still in the hunt for the top seed in the NFC. Dallas is just one game back of the Green Bay Packers with three weeks to go. Secondly, the Cowboys need to avoid the dreaded number four seed, too.
Perhaps more importantly than that, though, the Cowboys need its offense to get back on track — and fast. Dak Prescott, Kellen Moore, and the offense has been all out of sorts. The offense has not looked right since the New England Patriots game, save for the Falcons win and the fourth quarter against the Raiders.
Dallas takes on the Washington Football Team on Sunday before playing the Arizona Cardinals in week 17 and then the Philadelphia Eagles in the final week. There will be opportunities for Prescott to get back into a groove and the offense to get rolling again.
Prescott looked closer to his normal self last week against the Giants, which provides optimism moving forward. Moving Connor Williams back into the starting offensive line has appeared to pay off, too.
The bottom line is that the Dallas Cowboys finally have a defense that can win a championship. Now, it is time for this talented offense to hold up its end of the deal. These next three weeks will go a long way in getting things right.
