Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs threw some shade at Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase this week.
Diggs listed his top five wide receivers in the NFL right now and he inexplicably left Ja'Marr Chase off the list.
He included Stefon Diggs, Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, and Davante Adams.
I know Chase has been hurt this season, but he's absolutely one of the top-five wide receivers in the NFL.
Chase set a franchise record last season (as a rookie) for the most receiving yards in franchise history.
The former LSU star also set a rookie record for most receiving yards in a season.
And despite missing four games this season, Chase is still on pace to finish with around 1,200 receiving yards.
That's as good as it gets. To put up those kinds of numbers while banged up…that's impressive.
Chase is the total package. He has good speed, he's an excellent route runner, and he's a great teammate in general. If you were starting a franchise and you needed a WR1, I can't imagine a better option than Chase, who is still just 22 years old.
