Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow dropped the NFL quote of the week on Wednesday during a media session with reporters.
A reporter asked Burrow if the matchup with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday is a "must-win" game for the Bengals.
Burrow said he views every week as a must-win in the NFL, before saying "we're going to go out there and fight our balls off to get a W".
I'd say he wants to win badly.
You can certainly sense some urgency in Burrow's voice, though I don't think that urgency is because the Bengals are currently 2-3.
I think this is just how Burrow views every week in the NFL. I believe him when he says his approach would be the same at 5-0 as it is at 2-3.
And that's one of the biggest reasons why I think the Bengals are going to be able to turn their season around and be a factor in the playoffs once again this winter. Burrow simply isn't going to let this team miss the playoffs.
