With the Cincinnati Bengals set to travel to Florida this weekend to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there's been no shortage of Joe Burrow/Tom Brady comparisons.

A lot of folks (including myself) feel like Burrow is the closest thing we've ever seen to Brady. Burrow's insane competitiveness and elite leadership skills are certainly reminiscent of a young Brady.

(The Athletic's Jay Morrison wrote a great story this week about the comparisons.)

So how does Burrow feel about those comparisons?

Well, he was asked about them on Wednesday and he gave a classic Joe Burrow answer.

"He's Tom and I'm Joe," said Burrow.

Aside from the comparisons, Burrow was unsurprisingly extremely complimentary of Brady.

Burrow said most of his memories of football include Brady (Burrow was four years old when Brady was drafted).

The former LSU star added that Brady is the greatest of all time and he pointed to his toughness and leadership as the reasons why (Burrow also said Brady has always got the ball out really fast as well).

While I'm sure Burrow appreciates the comparisons to Brady, he ultimately just wants to be Joe Burrow. He wants to become a legend in his own right. And he's definitely well on his way to doing just that.
