Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow paid homage to teammate Ja'Marr Chase on Sunday morning in the coolest way possible.
Burrow and Chase were teammates at LSU in 2019 and they won a national championship together by beating Clemson.
That national championship game took place in the Superdome in New Orleans in early 2020.
On Sunday, the Bengals will play the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. It's the first time that Burrow and Chase have returned since beating Clemson.
As Burrow walked into the stadium on Sunday morning, he was wearing Chase's No. 1 LSU jersey, a cool move to recognize the significance of the two former Tigers playing in New Orleans.
Imagine a better teammate than Joe Burrow. I certainly can't.
This is an extremely important game for the Bengals. They badly need a win to make sure they stay in the thick of the AFC North division race.
