The Tennessee Titans’ troubling injury history is well-documented. Highlighted by season-ending injuries to key players like Harold Landry and Taylor Lewan, one doctor is labeling the Titans as one of the most banged up teams in the NFL.

Dr. Matt Provencher, who is an injury analyst for NFL on Fox, ranks each team’s injury issues with a Banged Up Score (B.U.S). This data point quantifies how injuries affect the overall team position and player performance on a scale of 0-100.

The Titans check in at No. 30 as the league’s third-most banged up squad through Week 4, trailing the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The training staff has had their hands full this season. Not only is the team without the services of Landry and Lewan, but WR Treylon Burks, EDGE Bud Dupree, S Amani Hooker, LB Zach Cunningham, and RG Nate Davis are also sidelined for the time being.

It’s been a point of frustration for the franchise, especially after using a record 91 players last season.

Injuries are guaranteed in a game as violent as the NFL happens to be, but one would think this struggle would balance out over time.

The Titans will have a week full of some much-needed rest and recovery with the bye coming at just the right time.
