Early in their Week 16 matchup against the New England Patriots, the Cincinnati Bengals suffered a big blow.
Starting right tackle La'El Collins went down with an injury as he was clipped from behind on his right knee. Hakeem Adeniji is his backup and will be taking over, for now.
If Collins is to miss extended time it could be big for the Bengals as all five of their offensive lineman have started every game for them this year. And, the group has hit a hot streak over the last few games as they continue to form the cohesiveness all NFL offensive lines desire/need.
Collins initially walked off the field on his own power, but carted to the locker room following a brief stint in the medical tent.
We'll provide updates once they come in.
