Tennessee Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker has some high expectations this season. From fans to the media, a lot of folks expect him to play very well. In turn, they expect the Vols to have an impressive season. Former Vanderbilt QB and current analyst Jordan Rodgers has confidence in the QB for the Vols.

Hooker played really well for the Vols last season after getting some experience in the system. This year, he has plethora of weapons and more time in Vols HC Josh Heupel's offense. Rodgers believes that he will be one of the best QBs in the SEC.

Accordingly, he would probably be one of the better quarterbacks in the nation as well.

Hooker probably has a case to have the second spot in the SEC rankings, too. South Carolina QB Spencer Rattle has plenty of tools, but he didn't put it all together during his time at Oklahoma. Considering the defenses in the SEC, it could be even tougher for him now.

Regardless, the Vols would happily take a season like the one Rodgers expects from Hooker. That means that he would have found even more success under Heupel.
