After the Tennessee Vols' 52-49 win over Alabama, UT tight end Princeton Fant was recorded on video saying "it's not personal, it's just business".

Vol fans immediately made the connection between Fant's quote and the hype video that Alabama dropped on Friday night.

That hype video from Alabama featured former Tennessee linebacker Henry To'o To'o, who transferred to Alabama after the 2020 season, saying "it's not personal, it's just business" about his return to Neyland Stadium.

Here's the clip of Fant after the game:

On Monday, Fant was asked about the comment. And he admitted that the To'o To'o comment was motivation.

"It was definitely motivation," said Fant. "It’s nothing personal at all. It's just business. When you step on the field it's business. Not a lot of talking. We came there to handle business. We came there to win."

Hey, whatever works, right? Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time (sorry Lebron) and he would literally make up reasons to be motivated over a perceived slight.

If it works for MJ, it can work for Tennessee football. And it certainly did on Saturday night against Alabama.
