Tennessee Vols and Arkansas Razorbacks baseball players had very different reactions this week to their respective fan bases.
On Thursday night, after Tennessee's 10-1 win over Vanderbilt, Vols catcher Evan Russell took time to mention the passion of the UT fan base.
Russell said he can't get on Twitter without seeing a bunch of Tennessee fans talking about Vols baseball.
"It's pretty cool to see how invested they are in us," said Russell.
It definitely sounds like Russell is a big fan of Vol Twitter.
Arkansas players, on the other hand, haven't had the same experience with their fan base.
Razorbacks catcher Michael Turner said on Friday that some Arkansas fans aren't so pleasant on Twitter.
"It's not always easy to play here," said Turner. "There’s a lot of people that are good fans. Some aren’t so great fans. If you read Twitter after the game, it can get in your mind a little bit.”
Tennessee fans are once again showing that despite their reputation, they're some of the best fans in the nation.
