The Vols have dominated consistently so far this season. Very few teams can say that.
They proved that they were among the cream of the crop with an intense win over the Crimson Tide. Now, one college football analyst for the SEC believes that they are the top team in the country.
Yes, Chris Doerig believes that the Vols should be ranked #1 right now.
He also thinks that Heupel is one of the top coaches in the sport. In fact, he even said that he is the best coach in the SEC currently.
That's quite the take considering the company. That being said, Heupel is proving to be an elite offensive mind and leader for the Vols.
His team is performing. That's what matters the most.
All of Doerig's points make plenty of sense. You can tell that he is fired up for this Vols team. He, alongside countless Tennessee fans, are a part of that club now.
