ESPN's College GameDay will be on campus on Saturday for the Tennessee Vols' much-anticipated matchup with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
On Thursday evening, ESPN announced that Vols legend Peyton Manning will be the celebrity guest picker on Saturday.
When GameDay came to Knoxville for the Florida game earlier this season, WWE superstar Bianca Belair was the guest picker. Belair is a Knoxville native who attended Tennessee.
There are a large group of fans who believe there's a "curse" associated with Peyton. It seems like every time he's at a big game, Tennessee loses. The truth, of course, is just that the Vols have been mostly down over the last 10 to 15 years. Peyton usually comes to the big games. And those are games where Tennessee hasn't usually been favored.
It doesn't matter who's on the GameDay set or in a box suite at Neyland, this game will come down to who makes the most plays on the field.
