Many members of Bills Mafia often dream about Josh Allen hoisting the Lombardi Trophy after a Super Bowl win. Well, it turns out that Allen isn’t much different from Bills fans after all.
The Buffalo Bills’ superstar quarterback joined The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, revealing that he too has dreams of a Super Bowl parade in the streets of Buffalo.
“I dream about it all the time. I dream about the Super Bowl parade and what that would be like. I know it sounds corny, but I know what I would say right after the Super Bowl to the fans here and to the city,” Allen revealed.
“Obviously we have to go out there and get it done through our actions, but it’s extremely fun to think about. It will be extremely special to be a part of, god-willing that we can get it done.”
Allen's full interview with the Pat McAfee Show can be found here.
Bills Mafia can appreciate the openness and honesty from Allen, who has Buffalo (9-3) atop the AFC East standings. It’s impossible to ignore for Allen, who has come so close in the postseason over the last few years.
It was important that he also acknowledged that there’s plenty of work left to be done. With the unfortunate news coming out of Bills camp surrounding Von Miller’s torn ACL, Allen is going to have to shoulder a much heavier load as the playoffs draw nearer.
It’s critical that Allen and the offense continues to raise its level of play in order to turn this spectacular dream into a reality.
