NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans could still be in pursuit of Jadeveon Clowney.

In a video conference call with reporters on Monday, general manager Jon Robinson discussed the Titans' interest level in the free-agent pass rusher.

"We haven't closed the door on anything, but I would say that we really haven't gotten closer to getting any finality to that either," Robinson said. "He's obviously a good football player."

That comment comes just three days ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft, in which the Titans are currently set to make their first pick at No. 29 overall.

The Titans' decision with that pick could influence whether they still have an interest in Clowney after the draft.

Robison did say, though, that there's also a chance that the Titans' draft bears no weight on their decision making with Clowney.

"Where we are, depending on who we pick, could potentially impact that, but I would say it doesn't close the door on it completely either," Robinson said.

"You don't ever close the door on potentially adding good football players to your team. So we'll just take it how it goes and probably circle back with that one either this week or next week once the draft is over."
