The biggest need on offense for the Las Vegas Raiders is clear. They need offensive linemen with experience or upside. Another veteran free agent just went off the market. Joe Haeg is signing with the Cleveland Browns. Haeg visited with the Raiders last week.
Haeg provides depth at multiple positions. He has experience at both tackle and guard. Haeg has provided viable fill-in work for multiple teams over his career.
The veteran earned a 67.5 blocking grade from Pro Football Focus last season. He played tackle and guard for the Steelers.
It is another missed opportunity for the Raiders to address their biggest need. Their current offensive line is both inexperienced and below average. Left tackle Kolton Miller is the lone bright spot, based on previous play. Most of the other starters' consistency as a starter is unknown.
The Raiders need to make a move for at least one impactful offensive lineman. Las Vegas has plenty of talent at the skill positions on offense, but they need better protection for QB Derek Carr.
