The 2022 NFL Draft is just over a week away, which means that the Dallas Cowboys will be making its first-round selection in no time.
Sitting at No. 24 overall in the first-round, the Dallas Cowboys could use its first pick of the draft in multiple ways. Jerry Jones has mentioned the possibility of trading up, while trading down in the draft is always an option worth considering.
The Dallas Cowboys have obvious needs at wide receiver and offensive line. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the team has met with multiple prospects at both positions ahead of the draft.
On the defensive side of the ball, pass rusher is a position that must be addressed. The loss of Randy Gregory was a tough pill to swallow. Adding an pass rusher that would allow Micah Parsons to continue being a Swiss Army knife is key.
Dallas is doing their homework there, too. The Cowboys have reportedly met with one of the rising prospects in the NFL Draft.
COWBOYS MEET WITH DRAFT RISER

Houston defender Logan Hall is one of the fastest rising prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft class. Hall is a versatile defensive lineman that can play inside and on the edge. Additionally, he tested very well at the NFL Combine in March.
Hall has a 6-6 and 280-pound frame that catches the eyes of evaluators. Furthermore, his pass-rush grade is similar to former fellow Houston star Ed Oliver, who has thrived with the Buffalo Bills.
The Dallas Cowboys are one of a handful of teams from around the league to meet with Hall ahead of the draft. Hall has been drawing round-one hype as of late. Judging by the amount of reported interest, that seems to be a realistic scenario.
Pro Football Focus tabbed Logan Hall as a potential first-round pick. His college production, large frame, and athletic profile all point to a high ceiling at the next level.
In addition to Hall being a good individual prospect, Houston has had a lot of success in churning out quality defensive linemen in recent years. Oliver was a top-10 pick in 2019. Payton Turner was a late first-rounder by the Saints in 2021.
Wide receiver and offensive line are the two most likely positions for the Dallas Cowboys to address in the first-round. However, Logan Hall provides an intriguing defensive option if the Cowboys want to go in that route.
