Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel recently caught a stray on Twitter via Dwayne Bowe's Patrick Mahomes appreciation tweet.

Earlier this month, Bowe tweeted a graphic that showed his insane numbers from the 2010 season (when Bowe had 1,162 receiving yards and 15 receiving touchdowns). He captioned the tweet "Imagine IF I Had Pat Mahomes No Offense To Matt Cassel".

On Wednesday, Cassel finally responded to the tweet.

It's nice to see that Cassel had a good sense of humor about the tweet. I mean, how could he not? Mahomes is on a different level than almost any other quarterback in the league. It's not exactly a shot at Cassel for Bowe to wish he had been able to play with Mahomes.

By the way, Cassel was pretty good in 2010. He passed for 3,116 yards and 27 touchdowns while throwing only seven interceptions. Cassel was voted to the only Pro-Bowl appearance of his career in 2010.

The Chiefs won the AFC West in 2010, but they lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
