Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is on his honeymoon this week, but that didn't stop him from getting roasted on Twitter by his teammates on Thursday.
It all started when wide receiver Mecole Hardman responded to a tweet asking which Chiefs players would make a good starting five in basketball (in honor of March Madness, of course).
Hardman listed Tyreek Hill, Khalen Saunders, Travis Kelce, Jody Fortson, and Chris Jones as his starting five. He listed himself as the sixth man.
Mahomes tweeted back at Hardman saying "you know better".
That led to a fun back and forth between wide receiver Gehrig Dieter and Mahomes.
Dieter was setting up Mahomes the whole time. He responded to that tweet with a video of Mahomes falling on the court while playing basketball.
Mahomes rarely takes a loss, but I'm pretty sure Dieter handed the former NFL MVP an L on Thursday.
