With the NFL Draft less than a week away, you can be assured that Chiefs fans are starting to sweat a lot. No one really knows what will Kansas City will do in the draft.
There are a few needs this year going into the draft. Will all of them be addressed? What will the Chiefs do with so many draft picks? How do you know if they are selecting the right player? Just a few of the questions that Chiefs fans have been asking.
The good thing is general manager Brett Veach knows what he is doing. This recent quote from Friday's presser can let Chiefs fans know, that he has everything under control, and the stress should be limited.

In a presser held on Friday about the upcoming draft, Veach had a few things to say about the draft and the current position. These quotes should put the fans of the Chiefs mind at ease.
"We've been going at it 100 mph, so we're excited about next week and adding a lot of talent to the Kingdom on both sides of the football," Veach told reporters. "I think if you look at the value in this draft, the 30-60 [range] is really good… I don't probably expect a huge jump up unless something unforeseen happens, but we'll be flexible and let the board talk to us [if there's value]… I would say about 95% of our board is done. We're excited about our plan and next week… We have 194 [players on our board]."
Just a few things to take away from that. First, when anyone hears the words of affirmation from Veach, it helps a lot knowing that the team is doing their job, and they are putting in as much work as possible to bring in the best player.
Secondly, this is a confident front office. While they are confident, Chiefs fans should be too. This front office has consistently made great draft picks. As an example, just look at the class brought in from last year.
And lastly, the Chiefs essentially have three draft picks in Veach's aforementioned 30-60 range. Meaning, they'll have a great shot at landing at least one the players that Veach likes.
With the number of picks the Chiefs have in the upcoming draft, there should be positivity. With less than a week until the draft, fans will find out who the newest member of the kingdom is. And I'm sure it will be a perfect fit.
