The Las Vegas Raiders will be without one offensive playmaker for certain on Sunday. That's WR Hunter Renfrow. Fellow offensive starter RB Josh Jacobs is questionable. According to reports, he did not travel with the team today due to illness. The Raiders' running back has missed the last two days of practice.
If Jacobs does miss this game, expect a committee in the backfield for the Raiders. Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White could both see plenty of work. Abdullah is certainly a threat as a pass-catcher. White would probably see early down work.
Jacobs has performed pretty well so far this season after a lot of preseason doubt. Behind a below average offensive line, Jacobs has 29 carries for 126 yards and two touchdowns. The Raiders need, at minimum, that type of production going forward from their RB.
Keep an eye out for an update on Jacobs' status tomorrow. He didn't travel with the team but could join them still before Sunday's game against the Titans. It is a game that the Raiders must win to keep their playoff hopes alive most likely.
