Taylor Swift became a vital part of Chiefs Kingdom and ensured she got close to the team. But the way she went about that shows how humble and kind the pop star truly is.
When speaking with ProFootball Network at the 2024 NFL Combine, Andy Reid revealed a simple gesture that truly meant a lot to one position group in particular
"And kind of behind the scenes to kind of fit in, she didn’t even know she was doing this I don’t think, but she likes to cook," Reid revealed. "So she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts."
However, Reid never got to try one of her creations.
"She didn’t give me one and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one,” he said with a laugh.
But it was enough, and the team, who probably already were high on her based on her relationship with Travis Kelce, were all in that point. She was now a true member of the team.
And that continued to show when she went out in Las Vegas with Kelce and his teammates to celebrate the Super Bowl LVIII win.
"She handles it," Reid said. "I think it’s a great escape for her, where she can come in and she sincerely enjoys the game."
I mean, from the first game she attended, Swift was caught on camera screaming "let's fu**ing go" after Kelce's touchdown catch. She was already all in at that point.
Swift has got to be a favorite amongst the team now, and hopefully there will be more baked treats in the future. Especially now that she knows Reid never got to try one.
