The Tennessee Vols are reportedly a "team to watch" for a four-star recruit from California.

Rivals.com's Adam Gorney pointed out this week that Ohio State, Tennessee, and USC are the three teams to watch the "most" for 2025 four-star wide receiver Phillip Bell.

"The Buckeyes might have a slight edge but the Vols and the Trojans continue to battle and staying closer to home at USC might be a draw in the end," wrote Gorney

Bell, 6-foot-2/195 lbs from Mission Viejo, CA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 13 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 11 player in the state of California. He's also rated as the No. 110 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

Bell was originally offered by Tennessee in September, 2022. The California native visited Knoxville last fall for the Vols' matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs in late November.

According to 247Sports, Bell is hoping to return to Tennessee for a visit this spring/summer.
