For just the third time in three years, Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel needs to replace an assistant coach.

According to On3's Matt Zenitz, Tennessee running backs coach Jerry Mack is set to become the Jacksonville Jaguars' new running backs coach.

Zenitz reported on Monday morning that the Jaguars are set to hire Mack. News first broke last Friday that Jacksonville was interested in the Vols assistant.

Mack was part of Heupel's inaugural coaching staff at Tennessee in 2021. He joins former wide receivers coach Kodi Burns and former tight ends coach/offensive coordinator Alex Golesh as the only assistants that Heupel's had to replace since taking over as the Vols' head coach three years ago.

With Mack off to the NFL, here are four options to replace him at Tennessee.
