Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Mecole Hardman combined for a classic moment in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers.
The play was called "Tom & Jerry" and was quite similar to their "Corndog" play calls from Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles a year ago. The play will go down in infamy alongside 65 Toss Power Trap, Jet Chip Wasp, and other Super Bowl-winning plays of the past.
Every version of the Chiefs' game-winning overtime touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII was just as electrifying as the CBS call, if not even better. Check out all of the alternate versions down below:
Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII Mitch Holthus version:
The Voice of the Chiefs, Mitch Holthus, never gets old with his classic: "Touch-Down Kan-sas City." I was a bit surprised that he didn't whip out the: "You can doubt the Chiefs, you can disrespect the Chiefs, but you're going to have to deal with the Chiefs!"
The 6,944 days bit was a good touch from Holthus, who rarely misses an opportunity to add the perfect amount of dramatics to a call.
Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII Kevin Harlan version:
Kevin Harlan is known for his wild call of the Dolphins defeating the New England Patriots during the Chiefs-Chargers game in December of 2019. This helped the Chiefs clinch the AFC's No. 2 seed en route to their Super Bowl LIV win over the 49ers.
Harlan called the game for Westwood One studios and his call was just as electric as you'd expect.
The genuine excitement from Harlan is palpable.
Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII Nickelodeon version:
The Nickelodeon broadcasts have been a pleasant change of pace and this year's Super Bowl broadcast featuring commentary from Spongebob and Patrick was an absolute classic. The way they just started screaming touchdown was pretty relatable for all of Chiefs Kingdom.
We'll see who Nickelodeon has on the broadcast next year.
Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII Korean version:
I don't speak Korean, but I imagine that the excitement for Mecole Hardman's walk-off touchdown here tells the entire story.
Jun has been sharing these Korean calls throughout the season, so if this is your jam, drop him a follow on X (Formerly Twitter).
Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII 49ers tears version:
Having been on the losing side of Super Bowl LV, fans can probably relate to this radio call. Thankfully, they didn't have to live that life again.
The Chiefs served up, "Another heartbreaking loss for Kyle Shanahan."
