Soon after the Kansas City Chiefs secured their Super Bowl win, the Indianapolis Colts made a post looking forward to next season. And while the post itself was pretty simple, a couple of comments from Michael Pittman Jr. and Anthony Richardson caught some fan's attention.
For those not aware, Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. is set to become a free agent for the first time in his NFL career this offseason. And while many believe the Colts will either extend or franchise tag the talented WR, seeing this exchange from Pittman Jr. and Richardson has to ease some fan's minds on the subject.
Pittman Jr. could just be supporting the young QB, and this comment could mean nothing about the current status of a potential contract extension. But if you ask me, it would be strange for Pittman Jr. to comment on a Colts post speaking on next season if it wasn't a part of his current plans to be with the team.
What are your thoughts on the comments? Does it bode well for the Colts chances of keeping the WR around, or is it nothing at all? I guess we will have to wait and see.
