Jason and Travis Kelce recapped the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII win on this week's "New Heights" podcast.

And while doing so, Jason called his brother's heated sideline exchange with head coach Andy Reid "over the top."

“You crossed the line. I think we can both agree on that,” Jason said. “Let’s be honest, the yelling in his face, too, is over the top. I think there are better ways to handle this, retrospectively.”

Realizing he was the pot calling the kettle black, Jason stepped back for a brief moment to also call himself out for needing to do a better job of controlling his own emotions — pointing to his sideline blowup with Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni from earlier this past season.

"It's not acceptable, he added. "But at the end of the day, these emotions are what make us so bought in and the teammates that we are,"

Travis agreed that he shouldn't get that fired up to the point where he's about to knock his coach over, even if he and Reid do share a special relationship.

He also shared that after the incident, Reid came up to tell him that he "loves his passion" but there's always going to be cameras on them.

Jason chimed in one more time on the situation.

"I'm not trying to make this acceptable," he said. "But this is what happens when you have highly motivated, passionate individuals. This doesn't happen if you and Andy aren't as close as you are. That's what nobody f—— knows. The reason this happened is because you two love each other so much and respect each other so much."
