Kansas City Chiefs OL Trey Smith isn't a stranger to the wackiness of media interactions during Super Bowl week. After all, the former Tennessee Vols standout was there last year when the Chiefs topped the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII 38-35.
However, on Monday night in Las Vegas, where Super Bowl LVIII will be played, Smith had an amusing interaction with a very recognizable face from late night television.
Guillermo Rodriguez, the parking lot security guard, celebrity gossip correspondent, and regular personality on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, stopped by the area where Smith was standing and asked for a very unusual autograph.
Smith could end up finding himself on national television even before the Super Bowl. Rodriguez will regularly tape amusing interactions with random celebrities at major events in a segment called "Guillermo's Hollywood Roundup" that airs on Jimmy Kimmel's show.
Regardless, Smith will look to earn his second straight Super Bowl championship on the same field where he's standing in less than a week, when the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers do battle in Super Bowl LVIII.
If the Chiefs win, then perhaps Smith could end up doing a victory lap with Rodriguez and Kimmel himself on the latter's show in the very near future.
