With news that came about last night in the NFL, Cleveland Browns fans may have a rare opportunity to watch their team in another country.
The NFL revealed last night that the Philadelphia Eagles will open their season by hosting another team in Brazil.
While the Browns don’t know their schedule yet for the 2024 season and won’t for a while, they do know what teams they will have to play next season.
2024 Home games for the Browns
- Bengals
- Ravens
- Steelers
- Chiefs
- Chargers
- Cowboys
- Giants
- Dolphins
2024 Away games for the Browns
- Commanders
- Bengals
- Steelers
- Ravens
- Broncos
- Raiders
- Eagles
- Jaguars
- Saints
So, from the list of away opponents, the Browns will either have to travel to nearby Philadelphian or make the long haul all the way down to South America.
Cleveland has held joint practices with the Eagles during training camp each of the last two seasons. They have been very competitive and even chippy at times.
It very well may not be the Browns that the NFL has facing the Eagles in Brazil, though they are an intriguing option to put on in front of the world. A team that hopes to be a force in the AFC and a team that hopes to be a force in the NFC playing an international game would be nice to see.
Browns should look to trade a former first round pick this offseason
Not far off of decision time.
